Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Score, the Assessment, and Build.

Is the AI Self-Assessment really free?

Yes, and there’s no card and no call attached to it. You answer 18 questions, you get your score and your weakest areas on screen. You’ll be asked for an email to receive the results, and you’ll hear from Ready AI only if you ask to.

What’s the difference between the Score and the Assessment?

The Score tells you roughly where you stand across seven areas of your business. The Assessment tells you exactly what to do about it — which specific tools, what they cost, what they’d return, and in what order. The Score is a temperature check; the Assessment is a plan you can act on.

How long does the Assessment take?

Typically two to three weeks from booking to final roadmap. That covers your intake questionnaire, the 60-minute working session, the analysis period, and writing up the deliverable.

Do I get the $599 back if I go ahead with Build?

Yes. If you start a Build engagement within 30 days of receiving your roadmap, the full $599 is credited against it. Past 30 days the credit expires — the roadmap is built on a snapshot of your operation and current tool pricing, and both move.

Can I take the Assessment and implement everything myself?

Absolutely, and some clients do exactly that. The roadmap is written so a capable person in your shop can follow it without me. Build exists for owners who’d rather not spend their evenings configuring software — not because the assessment is deliberately incomplete without it.

How does Build pricing actually work?

It’s scoped to what you want done. One-time projects start at $2,000 — a tool implemented, a workflow automated, your team trained, templates built and handed over. Ongoing support starts at $700 a month. Plenty of shops do a build project first and then move to a smaller monthly retainer. Everything is quoted in writing before work begins.

Am I locked into the monthly?

No. Monthly engagements can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. Anything already built and handed over stays yours — the tools are in your accounts, under your logins.

What if I don’t like the recommendations?

Recommendations are grounded in your actual operations and current tool pricing, and every one comes with the reasoning behind it. If something doesn’t fit your shop, say so — that’s useful information and the roadmap gets adjusted.

What about confidentiality?

Everything you share is confidential and proprietary to your business. Your data isn’t sold, shared, or used to train AI models. An NDA can be signed before anything starts if you’d like the added assurance.

What kind of businesses do you work with?

Primarily small and mid-sized businesses in Ontario, generally in the 10 to 50 employee range. Trade and service shops — HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, landscaping — are the most common fit today, but the approach applies to other industries too. Smaller and larger operations are welcome; that band is just where this tends to fit best.

How do I get started?

Take the free Score first — it costs you five minutes and tells you whether any of this is worth pursuing. If you already know you want the full picture, you can book the Assessment directly.
